Mission

Something to think about: is an artist-led cultural initiative that brings practitioners from varied disciplines together, with the public, to explore themes related to our rapidly changing world. Diverse activities including story-telling; music; exhibitions; performances; talks; screenings; and workshops take place at the STTA: venue – a renovated 19th Century coach house in Toronto’s west end. The programming is developed through collaboration and a generative process, engendering a collective experience for participants and audiences alike. At the root of these arts-based interactions is the desire to expand communities, and to foster interdisciplinary communication.

Place

STTA: acknowledges that it operates and gathers at its Dundas Street West building on the Indigenous territory of the Mississauga Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and the Wendat Peoples. We recognize that this land and its people are timeless, and we pay honour and respect to this history and to the Elders – past, present and future.

Something to think about: Venue opening in late 2024.
